Youth Match Racing World Championship

Schull Harbour Sailing Club is delighted to announce our sponsorship of Daniel Copithorne and the @moxie_racing_team as they represent SHSC and Ireland at the 2026 Youth Match Racing World Championship in Middelfart, Denmark, commencing on 21st June.

Pictured is SHSC Commodore Jack Allen presenting Daniel with the club's sponsorship cheque ahead of the championship.Daniel's dedication, skill, and commitment to sailing have been outstanding, and we are incredibly proud to see him competing on the world stage.

Representing both SHSC and Ireland at such a prestigious event is a tremendous achievement. Daniel has also been recognised internationally as one of just ten sailors selected by World Sailing to compete at this year's event.Everyone at Schull Harbour Sailing Club wishes Daniel and the entire Moxie Racing Team the very best of luck as they take on the world's best youth match racers.We will be following their progress closely and keep you posted throughout the championship.
