Copithorne Wins 420 Munster Championship

Huge congratulations to Daniel Copithorne (Schull Harbour Sailing Club) and Matt Mapplebeck (Royal Cork Yacht Club) on winning the 420 Munster Championships this weekend.

Hosted at the Royal Cork Yacht Club, racing was incredibly tight across a 20+ boat fleet, with every point hard-fought on the water. Going into the final standings, Daniel and Matt were tied on points with the Galway duo Sean Lemonnier and Killian Mathieu a true battle right to the wire.

In the end, the tie-break countback worked in Daniel and Matt's favour, securing them the overall championship win. A fantastic performance under pressure and a well-earned result!
